Engineering

Process Engineering

    • Process diagrams (P&ID´s) - according to international standards
    • Raw material balances (e.g. slurry, water) )
    • Complete consumer lists (e.g. motor and equipment lists)

Mechanical Engineering

  • Development and design of machine components
  • Expert support from the concept to manufacturing - option for local production of some parts in our clients' countries
  • Thanks to specialised design departments within the MFL Group even highly sophisticated challenges are competently met (e.g. strength calculations acc. to FEM (finite element method), computer simulations, etc.)

Plant Engineering

Successful projects start with creating a suitable plant concept.

To use the available space most economically and to ensure an optimised process flow, MFL compiles tailor-made layouts in close co-operation with the client - no matter if it is about modernising existing plants or green-field plants.

Prior to the installation of the new plant all necessary planning documents are provided involving construction companies and local (customer) suppliers:

  • Foundation plans
  • Assembly and installation plans
  • Piping, platform and catwalk plans
  • Drawings for safety devices

Detailed technical documentation regarding operation, maintenance and spare part management.

MFL fibre cement engineering covers the complete production plant - this is the only way to ensure first-class functionality and performance from the raw material input to the final product.

Automation

MFL state-of-the-art control systems guarantee safe and optimised function of the fibre cement plants.

We use control systems (PLC) of the leading brands in the market as well as systems specified by our customers.

Plant operation is simple and easy due to full visualisation on the screen.

Additional programmes such as process data storage, failure diagnosis and extended recipe control assist newcomers to run the plant in a technologically safe and profitable way.

Our electric engineering also covers the full scope of automation:

  • Hardware planning and implementation (low voltage part/ PLC / MCC)
  • Installation plans, cabling plans
  • UPS / emergency power supply systems
  • PLC software
  • Visualisation software
  • Detailed technical documentation regarding operation, maintenance and spare part management
